Animation in China is still not as highly regarded as live action series, so this is keeping the momentum in the right direction. So much so that they decided to fund a live action with 40 eps in a single season. If it was taken to a live action, that means the animation was popular in China. In the end, this is good news for the franchise/series and author.
So, if the animation VAs were kept around to dub the live action, they couldn't also work on the animation.
It took me until halfway through to realize it. Good news seems to be that its almost done with those cuts i just saw, bad news is that they seem to be prioritizing some lame live action version T_TThe live action actors are dubbed over by the animation's voice actors. people around don't appreciate the work of fansubber nearly enough for the amount of time they put into making these series watchable for us, especially when these people are getting it for free.
That's the one thing I've noticed with the community. He got so pissed, overworked with the subs, and his job picked him up full-time, that he entirely quit fansubbing altogether.
